Literacy for learning has always been a fundamental part of my teaching to ensure students are given every opportunity to develop and learn English through effective speech and written language.
I welcome the challenge of tutoring students of grade 5 &6 I have taught English as a second language. As a subject teacher my contribution has been to support, encourage and to develop literacy in my schemes of work and lesson plans. I believe to support students literacy skills is to support their progress in all areas of the curriculum. |
