None. I did, however, passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N4. So I understand conversational japanese. I also worked in Japan for 6 months and worked for a japanese company for 1 year. For those who want to learn English, I can also teach English since it is my second language. I use it everyday at work and studied it for more than 18 years in school. I also worked for an American company in the Philippines for two and a half years.
If it's English, I prefer conversing in the language while correcting my students at the same time. That is how I mostly learned aside from the grammar books in school. I believe constant practice and using it in everyday situations is the key to learning a language fast. Not just memorization. I'll use a book from time to time and make you read it aloud but aside from that mostly we'll just converse and I might give you short assignments for the next meeting. For learning Japanese. Since I will be teaching beginners books are necessary. I usually teach basic expressions and words together with the basic writing styles hiragana and katakana first before teaching any kanji since i do not want to confuse my students. Once that is done and memorized that is the only time I start teaching grammar and kanji.
