Miss Sondes is an excellent teacher. I used to have a very low level in French with issues in comprehension and vocabulary and as a result, I was getting many 4 (lowest grade) at school (We were thinking with my parents to change my school even). Today, I am one of the best in my class: my level of French has improved a lot and I am getting many 1 (highest grade). What I like the most about Miss Sondes is that she is very patient, professional and her ability to make the classes fun but very productive at the same time. I am never bored in the classes with Miss Sondes and even when I am tired, she is able to motivate and keep me focus. I want to show my gratitude through this message towards Miss Sondes for what she has been able to achieved with my son. He was getting D marks in French and used to tell us that he hated French. He had to prepare for his IGCSE exam and we started to seriously worry about how he would be able to pass it. As a graduating high school student, in preparation for University, my experience with Mme. Sondes' classes is more than expected. The most characteristic trait of her classes is the flexibility in her teachings. Aside from the detailed explanations and consistency of work done in class, she would offer additional knowledge in French cultures and knowledge. This is excellent for me as my target is the university of fine arts in Paris. In the process of preparation for exams, she's always dedicated and responsible in terms of the schedule of students. I have been a student of Miss Sondes for around 3-4 months because I desperately needed aid with my IB standard level French as I was sitting at a low score of 3-4. But during my classes with Miss Sondes, I could tell her expertise in the subject as she knew exactly where I needed to improve to drastically increase my grade as well as how I could see myself becoming a better at the language. Her classes were tailor made to ensure that I got the most out of the classes ranging from 1 on 1 sessions to group sessions that allowed insight on how others achieve good marks. As a tutor, she is a friendly person who encourages and uplifts the mood of the class so it would be a great experience, thus the classes were very enjoyable. In my school, the teacher doesn't give proper resources and we don't follow a textbook which made the subjects very hard for me. Ms. Ash has honestly been an absolute gem of a tutor for IBDP TOK! She is incredibly helpful and sweet - before the tutoring sessions, she would ask me to send in my work for her to annotate all over on a word document. During every single tutoring session, she makes sure to thoroughly explain all the feedback and often goes out of her way to help me, whether it is constructing new claims/counterclaims or finding RLS. I scored an 8/10 on my presentation, which would've been impossible without her help as, before the sessions, I had no idea what TOK was since I wasn't taught it properly. I'm especially grateful for how she always follows up with me after sessions to see if I had any further questions as well as make sure that I am completing the task, to which she then marks once again to help me gain the highest marks. Initially I was very confused about the essay and had no idea on how I needed to improve it, however, after having a one-hour session with Miss Ashwathy I felt so much better about the essay and felt as though I had a clear vision on what needed to be done. Her style of teaching is incredibly impressive and has helped me achieve high grades in a subject which isn't my best. I started lessons with Ms Sridhar in November, She is the most experienced IB tutor i came across on. She is very familiar with the Curriculum and knows how to teach and explain it very well. During her lessons she gives advice that not only helps with one of your subjects, you'll see that it applies to most of the other IB courses as well. As an IBDP student there follows a large number of requirements that is needed to be completed. What I liked about having Ms. Sridhar by my side, is her provision of guidance and clarity when it comes to giving advice. She has specifically helped me with the creation of my TOK that I felt has drastically improved since its initial state. I like his simplicity in everything. He carefully cares about his students and even their families although he hasnt seen them from before. What I mean by simple is that he takes everything to its easiest measures. He smiles all the time even thogh if his or his students day isnt good which provokes the student to keep completing and getting excited all the tim for the proceeding class. And if there is any question he doent know how to solve, he keeps continually on getting the correct answer which allows the student that there is nothing impossible to solve even by luck. I am high-school graduated student and I got 100 in calculus and trigonometry in 11th and 12th grade, but I have not taken most of the material of SAT level 2 subject test at school, so Mr Ramesh, was aiding me the whole month in solving questions during class and and assigning me over 100 questions to solve. I reccomend to take private classes with Mr Ramesh if you are attemting to get a very high score to study outside the country. Mr Ramesh, I will never forget you and you are one of my favourite mathematics teachers, god bless you and thank you so much.
