I am taking IB Economics SL and IB Business HL with Ms.Ash. I like her very much because she is young and full of energy and is also very experienced with the subject. In my school, the teacher doesn't give proper resources and we don't follow a textbook which made the subjects very hard for me. But Ms.Ash is very helpful and offers her own resources like textbooks, worksheets and past papers (even the teacher couldn't find these). The class environment is very clean and quiet. My parents are very happy and next year my brother will also join Ms.Ash!

Ms. Ash has honestly been an absolute gem of a tutor for IBDP TOK! She is incredibly helpful and sweet - before the tutoring sessions, she would ask me to send in my work for her to annotate all over on a word document. During every single tutoring session, she makes sure to thoroughly explain all the feedback and often goes out of her way to help me, whether it is constructing new claims/counterclaims or finding RLS. I scored an 8/10 on my presentation, which would've been impossible without her help as, before the sessions, I had no idea what TOK was since I wasn't taught it properly. I'm especially grateful for how she always follows up with me after sessions to see if I had any further questions as well as make sure that I am completing the task, to which she then marks once again to help me gain the highest marks. Every single student that I have recommended her to has gained top marks in their presentations and have now gone back for their essay too.

She is extremely helpful! I went to Miss Ashwathy regarding my TOK essay for the IBDP. Initially I was very confused about the essay and had no idea on how I needed to improve it, however, after having a one-hour session with Miss Ashwathy I felt so much better about the essay and felt as though I had a clear vision on what needed to be done. I found Ashwathy through my peers and she has been helping me the last couple of months with my IBDP TOK programme. Her style of teaching is incredibly impressive and has helped me achieve high grades in a subject which isn't my best. I started lessons with Ms Sridhar in November, She is the most experienced IB tutor i came across on. She is very familiar with the Curriculum and knows how to teach and explain it very well. During her lessons she gives advice that not only helps with one of your subjects, you'll see that it applies to most of the other IB courses as well. She gets straight to the point and can cover so much content even if the lesson is just an hour, and also gives you a ton of exam practice to familiarize yourself with different types of questions you can expect to see in your exam. I feel that it's very easy to communicate and connect with her because of her young age, personality and her sympathy for her students. As an IBDP student there follows a large number of requirements that is needed to be completed. What I liked about having Ms. Sridhar by my side, is her provision of guidance and clarity when it comes to giving advice. She has specifically helped me with the creation of my TOK that I felt has drastically improved since its initial state. Dr Stephen has been tutoring my son for iGCSE Triple Science for the last few months and I can honestly say that my son’s confidence level has increased several-fold. Before we started with Dr Stephen, my son was achieving 3s and 4s. However after a few months of Dr Stephen’s support, care and dedication, his grades have shot up to grades 7s and 8s. Thanks to Stephen, Sciences are finally making some sense and are actually enjoyable for my son ! After multiple unsuccessful interviews with local tutors, we were lucky enough to come across Stephen and honestly he doesn't disappoint. My son had an immediate liking to Stephen and his personality, and directly after the initial interview/meeting we knew he was the man for us to assist our son in his study and preparation for the upcoming exams. After the first lesson, being an initial discussion and review with my son of his current knowledge, Stephen was able to better understand the weaker topics vs those he had more strength in knowledge on and commenced with the weaker core topics first. He reviewed the entire exam syllabus of core topics and secondary topics, with emphasis on those core topics and moving onto the secondary. Stephen moves through onto the next topic, only once my son has a good grasp of the current topic being learnt. Over the past lessons with Stephen, it has become very clear what a huge learning gap there is for us between a classroom teaching style vs a one on one private lesson, and I only wish that we had have sourced him sooner. Although a 2-hour lesson appeared daunting at the time, Stephen has managed to keep my son fully engaged for each of the lessons, regardless of the topic. After each lesson my son is given exam based homework, which reiterates the topics and subject matters covered within the lesson, to be completed prior to the following lesson. The homework is marked and then discussed during the next scheduled lesson, in such a way that he encourages my son to answer and think without just simply providing him the answers. They review the hits and misses and discuss any misunderstandings from each question. Reinforcing the previous works learning, has really assisted with my sons retained knowledge, having that repeat-repeat type of method has been of great benefit. Stephen updates me with my sons progress after every single lesson in a detailed manner, either online or through mail. His knowledge, his passion and his delivery to my son’s lessons and homework has surpassed my expectation. The commitment, support and persistence of Stephen hasn’t faulted over the many lessons already completed. Nor has never judged my son for the level (grade) at which he is currently achieving, he only encourages him more to strive and to achieve in a positive manner, as if my son was his only student and his only focus. Overall, regardless of the outcome of the exams, the additional knowledge and confidence that Stephen has instilled in my son heading into the iGCSE exams, has had such a positive effect, it is invaluable. I highly recommend Stephen to any level of student studying Sciences.

Dr Lui is a kind, patient, supportive and highly professional tutor. I have met many, many tutors over a five-year period seeking help to support my son and Dr Lui stands out as the best one I have ever employed. His lessons are well planned, enjoyable, interesting and relaxed. Dr Lui struck up an instantaneous rapport with my son, who lacked confidence and motivation towards his science GCSE. He not only makes the subject he teaches interesting, he also inspires and motivates my son to do well. Dr Lui was very clear with his explanation and his pace of teaching depends on whether a certain area of a topic was understood or not. He prepared clear Powerpoints for each session followed by sending exam homework that supports the learning and assesses my son’s understanding and exam techniques. He would then go through the homework with my son and explains where mistakes were made and how to improve. As a result of 10 months of very engaging and interactive online lessons with Dr Lui, my son went from predicted grades of 6s to achieving three 9s for his Triples Sciences for this summer’s GCSE exams. Bilal Saleem was an amazing tutor. I was having so much trouble in accounting but from the first tutoring session, I already felt confident with the material. Its already a new school year, boy has the summer flown. I feel ready though and very positive about whats to come. I am in grade 13 and my mum has signed up to Gerards team of tutors. The sense of ease that I now feel is amazing. Its obvious a lot of time has went into finding these tutors because I am on a 100% happiness strike rate with my 3 teachers and that has never happened before. thank you for all your continued efforts :)

Grerad provided good teachers and continues to be an excellent source of advice to me. He helped me understand my sons confusing school reports which has highlighted to me that there is much important information that my school was not sharing, information that would affect my son over time if left unchecked. thanking you, Anna B
