Fist I will check what his lesson all about then I will make lesson plan for that day then he/she need to memorize everything that I ask him/her to memorize. After asking a question or follow up question, or beginning a problem, I will allow at least ten seconds for the student to respond. This may seem like a long time, but if you are patient, often the student will have time to think of a response. This will let the student know that you are listening and expect him or her to participate.
