Ideas we write about:

The key to getting great content that captivates your audience is to keep it friendly, positive and informative throughout. We believe that if you put in the effort to make sure the article relates to the reader, they will definitely respond to what you’ve written. An effective article can motivate people to exceed and overcome their self-imposed limits.

These areas are what we are looking for writers like you to contribute:

Imparting knowledge

Tell us how you were able to tutor someone and help them solve a problem that deals with educational or vocational efficiency. It doesn’t have to only include superlative moments, something as poignant as a kindergartner spelling his first complex word would do. It’s all about how you are able to present it as an article.

Life experiences

We can all learn a thing or two from each other. If you have something valuable to share, something that can add more to a person’s life, then go ahead and send it to us. Ideally, it has to be something that the reader can relate to. A journey of self-discovery, how you bounced back from a problem, and your struggle with hardships can all be effective pieces of content.

There will be 2 winners, and a sum of $1500 will be sent to their financial aid offices of their respective colleges or universities.

General guidelines to writing for us:

Do’s

  • The length of each article can be anywhere from 700 – 1200 words.
  • Grammatically correct articles. We can’t spend much time on editing articles, so the onus is on you to validate your article before you send it across.
  • Titles need to capture the essence of the article as well as the audience’s attention. Try writing on something that hasn’t been written about.
  • Hook them right at the beginning of the article. Make the introduction engaging.
  • Make your points clear to understand. Ask someone else to read it out and check if they get what you’re trying to say.
  • If you are writing on a popular topic, ask yourself how you can add more to it.
  • Citing your sources helps your credibility immensely.

Don’ts

  • Articles that tend to lean towards being SEO-centric. Please understand that content farms and other entities that create content just to promote a brand are not for us
  • Using profanity, sarcasm or being overly snarky does not help anyone, least of all the reader.
  • Hyperlink in huge clusters. Try spacing out your hyperlinks evenly across the content. Also, take care not to hyperlink an entire paragraph.
