Certified K-12 Elementary Education; Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education

Experience:

Teaching is a skill that can foster critical thinking in one’s students, which would then lead to success in the life of a student. I genuinely believe that learning is not attached at the hip to a classroom. I am aware that while teaching, the manner in which the teacher speaks to or communicates with a student can create a difference. It is not my duty to provide a simple lecture, but to promote thoughts, questions, and concerns.

Approach:

Students in my class will practice the skills of critical reading and writing in activities that demand an exploration of ideas and hypotheses after careful research and planning. Students will also have the opportunity to express their ideas in ways other than writing; posters, stories, three-dimensional art, and role-playing are some of the alternative activities available in my class and the theme I would want promoted in the school I partake as an educational leader.
