Tutor's Profile

I have 6 years teaching experience in Ireland and United Kingdom. 3 years teaching experience in a multicultural ethnic school in London, 1 year in Wales and 2 years in an all boys school in Ireland. Qualifications in teaching: SEN, EAL ,MAT, differentiation Speech and Language Teacher up to Grade 12. Music tutor: piano, tin whistle, banjo and mandolin. Primary: English, Social Studies, Maths and Physical Education. Secondary: Social Studies, English, Maths and Physical Education.

Tutoring depends on the student itself. Once I get to see the student and them at work I am able to understand what type of learner the student is. (Visual, kinesthetic or auditory) After this stage we are able to work on the strengths the student has to achieve at the subject that is causing difficulty. I also like to get to know the student which allows them to open up and trust me, therefore they are willing to try their best and make mistakes to learn. Pastrol care over the years has taught me to patient with students and always willing to listen. Lesson plans are designed for the work the student needs to cover. Lessons are always engaging and share an element of fun.
