Tutor's Profile

I am specialised in Teaching English as a Foreign Language to adults and young students. I have an experience of teaching for 30 years + in various schools and have taught both Indian and Arab students. I take special interest in teaching Children of Determination and those with Special Needs. I am qualified in language training, development of communicative skills and coaching for Reading programmes. I was also a member of the English Core Group reviewing and assessing English Course Books, preparing Question papers, Worksheets and Enhancement Booklets. I am also experienced in teaching Math, Science, Social Studies and value education to the Primary level students of Schools that follow the CBSE, CBSEi (International) and British Curriculum.

I plan my lessons according to the needs of my students, setting objectives that they will be able to achieve at the end of the lesson. As a teacher I am very patient, supportive and dedicated in helping my students to achieve their best especially when it comes to students who have Special Educational Needs through interactive and collaborative activities. I take interest in identifying their area of need to improve performance, boosting their confidence, testing how much my students have understood and in preparing them for assessments.
