I believe that every student is different and has their own strengths and weaknesses. I mainly focus on enriching and developing what my student knows and further extend it by giving more activities that I know could help the child. I use visuals, real-life examples and incorporate their interests to what they are learning. I also have a reward system that my students have always loved. My approach to older students obviously differs from the way I treat the younger ones. I make sure that my older students' see me as someone whom they can trust and chat with without compromising the quality of learning I am committed to bringing to them. My mission as a private tutor is not to bombard my students with paperwork and such but rather to allow them to express themselves in a way that they learn from their own piece of work. I believe that giving my student the time to think, create and reflect will help them not only with school works but also in their daily lives.
