I am a qualified teacher of English as a foreign language with TEFL certification and a Bachelors degree in the social sciences. I have approximately two years of experience in teaching. My strengths include understanding, patience and passion which make the learning experience better for both student and teacher. I would say that my style of teaching falls within the 'Hybrid' approach blending my own personality and interests with the students' needs and curriculum-appropriate methods.

My tutoring approach is integrated, blending the students' needs with the personality and interests of the teacher. My lessons are special because they are tailored to individual student needs and appropriate subject matter and they are also planned accordingly. I use a number tutoring techniques which include; lesson planning in order to make the lesson fun and interesting whilst also keeping the desired achievement objective, gentle reminding to students if they get distracted, confident and enthusiastic in order to retain the students' faith in my control, constant pupil feedback to enable students to verbalise their methods and thought processes, encouragement and positivity towards a student if they lack confidence or understanding, preparation to ensure the lesson runs smoothly, using the current lesson to assist the next one and I always seek advice from lesson co-ordinators to ensure that I am aware of any necessary changes or improvements with my tutoring.
