Experience	Experience: Hi, I'm Lispah! I graduated with a Bachelor's in Computer Science (with distinction) in 2005 and have been working as a professional in the technology industry ever since. I have been tutoring Computer Science and general computer/programming to high school, 1st, and 2nd year students since I entered my 3rd year in university. I teach software design using physical objects, English/metaphors, pseudo code, and a variety of programming languages.

Approach	Approach: I like to have them first explain what they have learned in their class/studies to confirm that understanding -- after all, the best way to learn is to teach! I then focus on the topics where students know they require my help, recap the material in my own words using examples (this is the "see"), present (or re-use existing) problems for the student to work through (this is the "do"), and finally have the student teach back the material to me (this is the "teach"). I also provide insights for how to study more effectively so that the student can feel more confident progressing with the material on their without needing me for the rest of their academic career.
