Experience:
A gold medalist MBA, I started my teaching career at IBA, Karachi. Thereafter, USAID trained me as a trainer. I was conducting UNICEF and USAID sponsored workshops in management and entrepreneurship all over Pakistan when marriage changed my world. For the next eleven years, I lived in Iran and focused on being a work-from-home mom. Next, I migrated to UAE, and for the last fourteen years, I've been working here as a teacher. |

Approach:
As a teacher, I believe learning should be fun. Students learn best when they do and enjoy what they're doing. In my teaching I don't focus on defining, listing, or describing; rather I emphasize demonstrating, applying, practicing, creating and evaluating; all in a fun way.
I believe in the proverb "If you give a fish to a man you feed him for a day; but if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime". I prefer to make my students fishermen rather than feeding them fish! |
