Tutor's Profile

Over 20 years of experience teaching piano, vocal technique, recorder and percussion ensembles . I have prepared student for ABRSM exams in piano and music theory and I own a Kindermusik studio to start children into music as early as newborn up to 7 years old . I currently lead a large music program at an prestigious international school in Al Ain, have worked with music institutes, collaborated with music festivals and organised a yearly meet up with music students in Al Ain - Young hands and voices concert during the Al Ain Music Festival. 

I have in the other hand,  taught Spanish at GCSE Level ; however I can teach beginners using appropiate resources and dynamic methods to create and develop communication , reading  and writing , fostering language aquisition skills in children and adults. 

I'm a dynamic , patient teacher who is passionate about transmiting the joy of music to children and adults. I like to work hand by hand with the families to ensure the students are supported and music practice is allocated at home as part of their daily routine to create good practise habits .  As a music teacher I like to focus on the big picture and not only focus on the instrument . Student should expect to receive a complete "music workout " including technique and repertoire , music theory and some music history facts to enhance the lessons and create , eventually a more integrated music student / performer.
