Tutor's Profile

I had adequate experience in tutoring students online, one-on-one or in small group. With over a decade of teaching experience in different univesities, tutoring is not at all unfamiliar. The mechanics may not be totally the same as classroom teaching, but the procedure and the end goals will be quite similar. At the end of the day, it is very important that the learners learned the lessons very well.  I have a comprehensive and excellent command of the English language, hence there will be no language barrier and students can learn one or two tips about good English from it too. I always believe that learning should be fun.

Teaching for me is to inspire students. The more the students are inspired, the faster that they learn and the more that they retain knowledge. To add variation, I sometimes employ the Socratic Method when required and depending on topics discussed. Equally important in developing a critical mind is also to guide or facilitate their learning as to provoke answers or solutions to identified problems. Hence, my teaching methodology will always be an interesting medium for my students to learn, develop, discuss, debate and resolve. Lastly, I believe that learning should be fun. While some subjects could extremely be difficult, serious or even boring, I make sure that I use the proper methodology available and utilize the appropriate intervening factors to make a difficult subject understandable, a serious one amusing, and a boring one interesting. In my years of teaching experience, I corroborate to the idea that students tend to learn more when the class is alive and exciting and when the professor is fun and excellent.
