Tutor's Profile

I have been a primary school teacher and leader for 14 years. I have taught in Australia and the UK and have extensive experience in both curricula. I have taught in the UAE for 6 years, five of those in school leadership, where I was grade level leader for Grade 4 and also Mathematics coordinator for the KG to Grade 5 in a large UAE school (Approx. 750 students). I have extensive experience tutoring in Mathematics. I look forward to helping your son or daughter achieve their full potential.

My approach to tutoring is firstly to find out the students area of need. This is done through some basic assessments and my own awareness of how children progress in the subjects. I work with the student to set clear goals for their achievements and reward them for achieving these goals. I work to support students no matter what their need, however, I encourage rigour and hard work as the most effective methods to attain success and ensure the sessions are supportive yet challenging.
