In my previous teaching post at St Paul's in Dublin, I was Head of Literacy. Here, I had to deliver training to my colleagues on the new language curriculum and also present at parent nights explaining how literacy is taught in the school. I have also great knowledge and experience with working in Learning Support teaching EAL students valuable language acquisition skills. |

I have an extensive background in bilingual education, with a thesis written on 'The Phenomenon of Bilingual Education', which I wrote whilst completing my Masters. I believe that this study has been most beneficial to the children I have taught second languages to. I have a great passion for language and find it extremely rewarding and encouraging to see children develop and learn a second language with the same passion an enthusiasm. |
