Approach |
Approach:
Graduated from the Kharkiv State College of Music (Ukraine) and holding a Licentiate of the Royal School of Music in Violin Teaching (Level 6 Diploma). My teaching approach integrates the best methods I've encountered throughout my career. These methods encompass the so-called 'Russian school' in which I received my initial training, as well as other methods such as Orff, Kodaly, Dalcroze, Suzuki, and more. In my lessons, I go beyond imparting violin playing skills. I emphasize a deeper understanding of the music being played, fostering the development of skills, knowledge, and overall musicianship. I maintain a healthy balance between work and enjoyment to ensure a fulfilling learning experience. Additionally, I offer instruction in Music Theory and Composition, up to and including Grade 8 of ABRSM or TCL standards, as well as the fundamentals of piano suitable for beginners. My ultimate goal as a teacher is to empower my students to become self-sufficient, well-informed, and, most importantly, proficient musicians, enabling them to reach their desired level of performance excellence. |
