Experience	Experience: My main goal as a tutor is to create an environment where motivation is a key element of my lessons. I generate enthusiasm in my students by maintaining a passionate and energetic tone throughout the class. An ability to build positive personal relationships with students is important. I take care to notice each studentâ€™s particular strengths and weaknesses, allowing me to provide regular individual feedback. Students appreciate being treated as an individual.

Approach	Approach: Mutual respect between tutor and students creates a learning environment. My students know from the outset exactly what is expected of them in terms of work. This prevents misunderstanding later on. Once mutual respect has been established, a sense of variety can be very beneficial. I consistently employ High Frequency- Low stakes testing, deconstructing activities, reducing activities and comparing activities in my tutoring lessons. A variety of ways can deepen student knowledge.
