Tutor's Profile

I have been working in special education for the past five years and have tutored students with learning difficulties, disabilities and those that take EAL  (English as an additional language) from early years all the way up to secondary students. My style of teaching is inquiry-based where the students are engaged and excited to learn through different activities, my strengths include finding innovative and fun ways to help my students access the lesson's content.

I plan my lessons according to my students needs and areas to be covered. The lessons are majorly exploratory activity based with direct instruction, there is a lot of probing questions, active listening and positive reinforcement to help sustain interest in the lesson.
