Tutor's Profile

I have tutored students with and without special needs in New York/USA- Bogota, Colombia-and currently in Abu Dhabi, UAE. I have worked as an English, Math and SEN teacher over the past 20 years. And over the years provided English classes to executives in Petroleum Companies and college students in law school in Bogota, Colombia. I also provided ABA therapy to students ages 7-18 years of age. I have also tutored students age 6-18 in English/Math and Life Skills.

I plan my lesson considering the needs of the student and connect with the school (if parent allows it) in order to let them know what I am working on to see if they want me to use current curriculums being used in the school. My lessons are molded to the student since I DO NOT follow a model of one size fits all approach to teaching. I use OneNote to record my sessions and share them with student/family as needed. I have worked in Abu Dhabi for 6 years for ALDAR and currently TALEEM here in Ras Al Khaimah.--.My motto: ' It's kind of fun to do the impossible!'
