Tutor's Profile

I am an enthusiastic and highly motivated primary school teacher, originally from Ireland! I completed a Masters degree in Primary Education Teaching with a specialism in PE. I have experience teaching Maths, English, Geography, History, Science and PE in Year 1 to Year 6. I have a passion for health and fitness and I have trained children in many different areas including crossfit, football, basketball, gymnastics and athletics.

I have 4 years experience of tutoring children both individually and in small groups. Initially, I discuss the needs and goals of the child with the parents. Then, I plan lessons specific to the needs of each individual child. After that, I outline progressive goals which will lead to the objectives the parents have set out. I believe it is imperative that the lessons are paced specifically to the needs of each individual child. I aim to bring an element of fun and enjoyment to each lesson.
