Tutor's Profile

I have just completed my first year of teaching at an International British School here in Dubai. I will be teaching Year 6 and taking on Head of Primary Writing at my school. I currently tutor Year 5 and Year 6 English in the evenings. I would love for the opportunity to tutor on the weekends. I came from an outstanding school in London and tutored Chinese children English online for over a year and have also got experience working with children with barriers to their learning.

First and foremost it is important that I get to know the child I am tutoring, as all children learn in different ways. I look at what they're struggling with and build on consistent methods of teaching. If that doesn't work, then I will find other ways. I am energetic and showcase my love for teaching when I teach - that is evident in my pupils academic progress.
