Experience |
Experience:
During the past ten years, I have supported my students in developing the social, emotional and academic skills to be successful and confident in life. First, I assess my students' strengths and weaknesses so that I can plan a tailored individual approach to their needs to enable them to progress quickly. Finally, I inform the family about the student's daily and weekly progress. I keep an open dialogue with the school teacher to see if the student is making progress in school. |

Approach |
Approach:
The curriculum has to be well-sequenced and at the right level of challenge to enable the student to succeed. If the lessons are too hard, the students get disengaged, and if they are too easy, they get bored.
Retrieval techniques are essential! We have to recall knowledge all the time, and it is better if we do it in a fun way.
Developing independent learners is what I aim for; I want the students to be able to be self-directed in their studies after they have learned the technique. |
