Tutor's Profile

I have a music education degree (piano major) from the USA and have been internationally teaching for 29 years. I am interested in working with beginning to intermediate piano students and could provide weekly lessons. I can work with the piano methodology/program you are currently using or we can look for a series that is interesting/motivating for you. I have used the Bastien Piano Basics, Alfred's and John Thompson's series that combines music theory, technique and various music genres.

One on one in person lessons at your home would work best. According to the piano series you are working with, or we choose together, we will put together a weekly practice session of warm up exercises to build technique, a little theory, and a couple of piano pieces to work on in-between our face to face lessons. Depending upon the age of the student, lessons will be 30-60 minutes. I am full of positivity, enjoy teaching and make learning fun!
