Experience	Experience: Over the past 33 years I have helped students to get on or above grade level in all subjects. As a reading specialist I can identify students strengths and weaknesses and come up with a plan to enrich and provide support . I am American teacher with 33 years of teaching and tutoring experience. U.S. Certified Early Years and Primary school. I specialize in phonics, Reading, Math and English tutoring. I teach KG2 at Gems Academy. I founded my own online tutoring business and have been working with students from many of the best international schools in the Middle East for the past 12 years. As a reading specialist I worked for 5 years at Oxford tutoring students of all ages. I can do a complete assessment of your child and identify areas of need and focus on these skils so your child is well prepared for school. I offer Summer Tuition to fill in the gaps so that your child is ready for the next acedemic year.

Approach	Approach: I adjust my lessons to each individual child depending on where they need the most support. I aim to provide a solid grounding in the subjects while paying close attention to the needs of the individual. An initial meeting establishes the student’s needs and the direction tuition should take. Then we begin work on a programme of study which focuses on filling gaps in knowledge and addressing any areas of weakness. Often, this involves many teaching techniques – the kinds of things that tend not to happen in a busy classroom. I set regular homework – the quantity varying with how much time the student has – and give feedback the following session.
