BENEFITS:
The current Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) Reasoning Test, introduced in 2005, will finally become a thing of the past. From March 2016, the NEW SAT will step in and with it will come major changes in the training styles and philosophies of trainers and training institutes.
The NEW SAT comprises of three noteworthy segments: The Reading Test is centered around the assessment of students’ comprehension and reasoning skills in relation to appropriately challenging prose passages (sometimes paired, or associated with one or more informational graphics) across a range of content areas, and the Writing and Language Test is centered around the evaluation of students’ revising and editing skills in the context of extended prose passages (sometimes associated with one or more informational graphics) across a range of content areas. The optional Essay is focused on the assessment of students’ skill in developing a coherent and lucid written analysis of a provided source text.
The test covers all mathematical practices, with an accentuation on critical thinking, using appropriate tools strategically, and searching for and making utilization of structure to do algebra. The practices stressed in the redesigned SAT are integral to the requests of postsecondary work. Critical thinking requires students to make sense of problems, to understand issues and continue to tackle them, an aptitude exceptionally evaluated by postsecondary teachers. Modeling stresses applications characteristic of the entire postsecondary curriculum. Students will be asked throughout high school, college, and careers to make choices about which tools to use in solving problems. Finally, structure is primary to algebra and to other more advanced mathematics.
Composition of each section:
Evidence-Based Reading and Writing:
The Reading section has 52 Questions tested in 65 minutes and the Writing section has 44 Questions tested in 35 minutes. Both the reading and the writing are scored together on a scale ranging from 200 -800.The reading and writing will emphasis on words in context, emphasis on command of evidence, inclusion of informational graphics, and specified range of text complexity.
Math:
20 Questions tested in 25 minutes without the use of a calculator and 38 questions tested in 55 minutes in which a calculator can be used. The Math sections are tested in 80 minutes and focus on basic arithmetic, algebra1 and 11 and geometry. The two sections are scored on a scale ranging from 200-800.
The total score for the new SAT is between 400-1600 with a 50 minute optional essay. The redesigned SAT will report multiple sub scores for Reading, Writing and Language, and Math. The Reading and Writing and Language Tests will contribute questions to two sub scores: (1) Command of Evidence and (2) Words in Context. The Writing and Language Test will also report two additional sub scores: (1)Expression of Ideas and (2) Standard English Conventions. The Math Test will report three sub scores: (1) Heart of Algebra, (2) Problem Solving and Data Analysis, and (3) Passport to Advanced Math.
The big takeaways in the new SAT are that you have fewer sections, more time on average per question and the essay is optional. Moreover, there is no penalty in the new SAT, so this relieves the students from the fear of making guesses.

ABOUT THE ACT Prep Course
Designed to test students in four areas - English, Mathematics, Reading, and Scientific Reasoning, the ACT test is almost three and a half hours long. The four areas on the ACT are scored individually on a scale of 1-36 and these 4 scores are then averaged into a Composite Score for the student.

DETAILS OF THE GMAT COURSE STRUCTURE
A standardized test, the Graduate Management Admissions Test, measures Verbal, Mathematical and Analytical skills, and is administered by the US-based "Pearson VUE”, under the directions of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). The examination is entirely computer-based, and since questions are in a pool no two test takers get the same set of questions. The test comprises of four sections that come in the following order – Analytical Writing, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative, and Verbal.
Section 1: AWA: Analysis of Writing Assessment. This 30 minute section requires test takers to write an analysis of an argument. Although the score of this section is not incorporated into the 800 score of the test, test takers must be serious about their performance here since the best business schools pay attention to AWA scores while reviewing applications.
The AWA assignment is graded on a 0-6 scale in 0.5 increments.
Section 2: IR: Integrated Reasoning. This is also a 30 minute section which tests the student’s ability to read, understand, and interpret the information presented in the form of texts, tables, or graphs. Unlike as on the Math section of the GMAT, on the IR section test takers have access to an online calculator. This considerably eases the pressure of answering 12 Questions in 30 minutes.
The section score is not incorporated into the 800 score and is reported independently on a scale of 0-8 in 1 point increments.
Section 3: Quantitative. This is a 75 minute section comprising of 37 Questions of Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency. Quantitative scores are from 0 to 60 (scaled score), with a 51 scaling a 98 percentile.
Section 4: Verbal. The last section of the test, the Verbal Section, comprises of 41 Questions that are to be done in 75 minutes. Verbal score are from 0 to 60 (scaled score), with a 45 scaling a 99 percentile.
The total score of the GMAT is 800, made from a combination of the scaled scores of Sections 3 and Section 4.

How to become ACCA?
In order to claim the ACCA title, candidate must finish 14 exams along with ethics module and a relevant experience of 36 months.
Exemptions
If you already have some qualifications, you may not have to take all of the exams in the ACCA Qualification. These are called exemptions and mean that you will start your studies at the right level for your knowledge and skill.

DETAILS OF THE SAT TEST STRUCTURE
The current Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) Reasoning Test, introduced in 2005, will finally become a thing of the past. From March 2016, the NEW SAT will step in and with it will come major changes in the training styles and philosophies of trainers and training institutes.
The test covers all mathematical practices, with an accentuation on critical thinking, using appropriate tools strategically, and searching for and making utilization of structure to do algebra. The practices stressed in the redesigned SAT are integral to the requests of postsecondary work. Critical thinking requires students to make sense of problems, to understand issues and continue to tackle them, an aptitude exceptionally evaluated by postsecondary teachers. Modeling stresses applications characteristic of the entire postsecondary curriculum. Students will be asked throughout high school, college, and careers to make choices about which tools to use in solving problems. Finally, structure is primary to algebra and to other more advanced mathematics.
Composition of each section:
Evidence-Based Reading and Writing:
The Reading section has 52 Questions tested in 65 minutes and the Writing section has 44 Questions tested in 35 minutes. Both the reading and the writing are scored together on a scale ranging from 200 -800.The reading and writing will emphasis on words in context, emphasis on command of evidence, inclusion of informational graphics, and specified range of text complexity.
Math:
20 Questions tested in 25 minutes without the use of a calculator and 38 questions tested in 55 minutes in which a calculator can be used. The Math sections are tested in 80 minutes and focus on basic arithmetic, algebra1 and 11 and geometry. The two sections are scored on a scale ranging from 200-800.
The total score for the new SAT is between 400-1600 with a 50 minute optional essay. The redesigned SAT will report multiple sub scores for Reading, Writing and Language, and Math. The Reading and Writing and Language Tests will contribute questions to two sub scores: (1) Command of Evidence and (2) Words in Context. The Writing and Language Test will also report two additional sub scores: (1)Expression of Ideas and (2) Standard English Conventions. The Math Test will report three sub scores: (1) Heart of Algebra, (2) Problem Solving and Data Analysis, and (3) Passport to Advanced Math.
The big takeaways in the new SAT are that you have fewer sections, more time on average per question and the essay is optional. Moreover, there is no penalty in the new SAT, so this relieves the students from the fear of making guesses.

Foundation Course
About the Course
Foundation Course is the entry-level for Chartered Accountancy Course.
Students after passing class Xth examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto can register for Foundation Course. Students can appear in the Foundation Examination after appearing in the senior secondary (10+2) examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognised by the Central Government as equivalent thereto. Students after registration to the course are required to complete a minimum of 4 months study period from the date of registration in order to be eligible to appear in the Foundation Examination, i.e., students registered on or before 1st July / 1st January will be eligible to appear in May/November examination, as the case may be.
Students who are Graduates/ Post Graduates with prescribed percentage marks or its equivalent grade in the examination conducted by any recognized University (including Open University) or Intermediate level examination passed students of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India or The Institute of Company Secretaries of India are exempted from passing Foundation Course. Such students on fulfilling the requirements can register directly to Intermediate Course.
Foundation Course comprises of four papers, out of which two are subjective and two are objective type. Negative marking for choosing wrong options is there in objective papers.
Foundation Examinations are held twice a year in the months of May and November. Examination Department issues notifications/ announcements regarding conduct of Foundation Examination on Institute’s website www.icai.org/ Newspapers. The said notification contains the proposed Examination Centres, in India and abroad. After getting registered for Foundation Course, students are also required to fill in separate application form for appearing in Foundation Examination.
Foundation Course registration is valid for 3 years and can be revalidated any number of times for further 3 years period by paying revalidation fee of Rs.500/- or as decided by the Council from time to time.

You must meet the Four E’s: Education, Ethics, Examination, and Experience—in order to become a certified internal auditor (CIA Course in Dubai). Within a three-year eligibility period, all four requirements must be fulfilled in this order.
Prior to passing the exam requirement, candidates must meet the Institute of Internal Auditors’ (IIA) requirements for ethics and education. You can finish the experience requirement whenever you want, but many applicants prefer to do so first by passing the CIA test.
Education for CIA Course in Dubai
Having the necessary education is the first requirement for becoming a CIA. Before, a bachelor’s degree was a requirement for all applicants. But as of right now, both candidates with an associate’s degree (or an equivalent) and those with no post-secondary education at all are eligible for certification through the IIA.

To prove that you have a degree recognized by the IIA, you must submit one of the following: your official degree copies university letter confirming degree confirmation letter for degree level from evaluation services
Note: If you are a full-time student (minimum of 12 semester hours or equivalent) in your final year of school, you may enroll in the CIA program and take the CIA exam parts before completing your education requirement. However, you must meet the educational requirement in order to be certified.
Candidates for the CIA are expected to uphold the values and principles articulated in the IIA’s Code of Ethics. Your acceptance is dependent upon your agreement to follow the Code of Ethics. You need the signature of an IIA-certified individual, your supervisor, or your professor on the Character Reference Form to prove that you’re ethically sound.
Examination
One of the certification’s most difficult requirements is passing the CIA exam. The CIA exam is broken down into three sections, has hundreds of questions, and takes hours to complete.

For the exam portion you need to register online. You can contact Pearson VUE to set up your test over the phone or via their website.
Experience
The experience requirement, which entails working in internal auditing or its equivalent for a specific number of months, is the last significant requirement you must meet to become a CIA. The IIA makes it clear what kinds of work are okay. The IIA’s Experience Verification Form says that “audit/assessment disciplines, including quality assurance, external auditing, internal control, and compliance.”
To obtain the CIA, you must also fulfill a few additional requirements. These requirements, however, don’t require as much time or work from you.
Identification documentation
You must provide official identification, such as your passport or national identification card, in order for your CIA certification program application to be approved. There can be no expired documents because the IIA only accepts current ones.
This paperwork needs to be scanned and uploaded via the Document Upload Portal in a way that makes the image easily readable.
The confidentiality
The CIA exam is secret, just like many other tests for certification. For the CIA program to let you in, you have to promise to keep the results of the test secret. Before you are allowed to take the exam at your scheduled time, you will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
If there are any further instances of exam information disclosure, the student may be disqualified from the program for violating the Code of Ethics. Eligibility Duration
Period of eligibility
Following The IIA’s acceptance of your application to the CIA program, you will have three years to fulfill all of the program’s eligibility requirements. If you don’t become certified within the allotted three years.
