There are three versions of the CELPIP Test: the CELPIP-General Test, the CELPIP-General LS (Listening and Speaking) Test, and the CELPIP-Academic Test.
The CELPIP General Test is a multi-purpose English language proficiency test accredited by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to assess functional language proficiency in English. CELPIP stands for Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program.
The CELPIP General Test allows test takers to demonstrate their ability to function in English and gives trained raters (i.e, test evaluators) ample opportunity to assess the test taker’s performance in the Writing and Speaking Tests. Raters are not required for the Listening and Reading Tests because these are computer-scored.
The test clearly, accurately, and precisely assesses a test taker’s English abilities in a variety of everyday situations, such as communicating with co-workers and superiors in the workplace, dealing with friends, understanding newscasts, and interpreting and responding to written materials.

The Occupational English Test is an international English language test that assesses the language proficiency of healthcare professionals seeking to register and practice in an English-speaking environment.
It provides a validated, reliable assessment of all four language skills – listening, reading, writing, and speaking – with an emphasis on communication in healthcare professional settings.
OET tests candidates from the following 12 health professions:
OET assesses listening, reading, writing and speaking. There is a separate sub-test for each skill area. The Listening and Reading sub-tests are designed to assess the ability to understand spoken and written English in contexts related to general health and medicine.
The sub-tests for Listening and Reading are common to all professions. The Writing and Speaking sub-tests are specific to each profession and are designed to assess the ability to use English appropriately in the relevant professional context.
1. IELTS Reading Module:
This test consists of three sections with 40 questions. There are three texts of general interest usually taken from journals, books, magazines and newspapers.
A variety of question types is used, including: multiple choice, identifying information (True/False/Not given), identifying writer’s view or claims (Yes/No/Not Given), matching information, summary completion, table, diagram or flow chart label completion and short-answer questions.
In general reading the texts are taken from notices, advertisements, leaflets, newspapers, instruction manuals, books and magazines.
The first section contains texts relevant to basic linguistic survival in English, with tasks mainly concerned with providing factual information. The second section focuses on the work context and involves texts of more complex language.
The third text involves reading more extending texts, with a more complex structure, but with the emphasis on descriptive and instructive rather than argumentative texts.
2. IELTS Writing Module:
The IELTS writing test takes one hour. In this time you are required to complete two tasks.
Task One is a report based on some graphic information. With few exceptions, the graphic information will come in one of five forms – a line graph, bar graph, pie chart, table or diagram illustrating a process. For General version of IELTS you are supposed to write a letter in a variety of situations. You are required to describe the information or the process in a report or a letter of 150 words. This task should be completed in 20 minutes.
What is being tested is your ability to:
Task Two is an essay based on a topic. You should write at least 250 words in 40 minutes. It is important that you keep within the advised time limits as Task Two carries more weight in your final band score than Task One.

There is a strong demand for trained chefs/ cooks and the food and beverage industry is now offering good salaries and working conditions to attract skilled personnel.

What is GED?
The General Educational Development or Diploma – GED is a high school equivalency certificate from the United States of America. It is designed for the students who, for variety of reasons, are stuck at different levels and are unable to continue higher education.
GED tests are a group of four subjects which, when passed, certify that the student has American or Canadian high school-level academic skills and it is recognized by IBCC & HEC and the BBA program is for 4 years (8 semesters) and comprises of 48 courses and 144 credit.
