For the students of ages 5 and 6 we provide Violin - Preparation Session.

It is undeniably soothing and relaxing; not only to the audio sensory but most importantly to the mental relaxation and profound calmness of the spirit.

Preparatory - Creative Learning on Flute is for the 5 and 6 year olds. The flute in particular has a number of advantages in its favour. It is one of the oldest woodwind instruments, and has existed for hundreds of years. Its development therefore, has cultivated to its finest form and exists in alto and bass forms also, as well as being related closely to the piccolo. It is popular and so long as the pupil can grasp the concept of its embouchure , a good sound is possible almost immediately. The notes are the same as the recorder - possibly the first instrument that is taught during childhood and therefore they can identify with this as the fingering is the same.

Flute Classes are for the students more than the age of 7. In flute by correctly overblowing, the notes are exactly the same but sound an octave higher, so the relationship between the first and second octaves is easier to remember whereas in the clarinet they are totaly different.

The notation is written in the treble clef whereas the bassoon is in the bass clef, so it's nice and straight forward theoretically and its cheaper to run than the other woodwind instruments because you don't have to buy reeds to get a sound from it. Flute is versatile and is used in classical, jazz and modern band ensembles.

This exciting class will expose young students to the joys of watercolor painting, collage, assemblage, sculpture, clay, printmaking and mixed media design. Inspired by great artists from around the world, students will be encouraged to explore non-toxic materials and techniques. Students will be provided with watercolor paints, oil pastels, papers, glue and scissors for each student to keep.

Mixed Media Printmaking Course for students of 9 - 12 years is available here. This class will introduce students to the excitement of non-toxic printmaking. Young artists will use a variety of tools and materials to create innovative relief and monoprints. Students familiar with printmaking will learn a variety of different techniques to take their images to the next level. Students will make and maintain a sketchbook, using those ideas for final pieces.

Creative Program on Mixed Media Printmaking for Adults is being provided here. This class will introduce adults to the excitement of non-toxic printmaking. Students will use a variety of tools and materials to create innovative relief and monoprints. Individuals familiar with printmaking will learn a variety of different techniques to take their images to the next level. No previous art experience is required.

This is a creative learning program on Words - Poetry - Painting for the teens and tweens. Young artists will develop their ideas about poetry, the visual arts and words as decoration. They will design art (books, sculptures, paintings, etc.) to showcase their favorite words or poetry. Students will also create a sketchbook and portfolio to document their ideas.
