My teaching experience was mentoring my junior auditors at my workplace. My aim was to not tell them what to do but most importantly let them know WHY they are doing so. Working as an auditor enabled me to actually implement my knowledge from ACCA into practical work life. Hence I believe you can have a better advantage since I have both theoretical and practical knowledge of the subject.
