Experience	Experience: I have been teaching for the past 6 years. I completed my Bachelor of Education degree in Dublin, Ireland, where I received 1st class honors. This is my second year teaching in Abu Dhabi. I have experience in teaching various age-groups, from age age 3 to 13. I am currently teaching Grade 2, where I specialize in English, Maths and Social Studies. I also have experience in teaching music. I taught music lessons in Ireland for 7 years, teaching piano and violin to children aged 7-13.

Approach	Approach: Having had experience in tutoring children from ages 3-13 I know that the one-to-one relationship with the student and tutor is very important. I believe that one of the most valuable lessons tutors can share with their students is a passion for learning. As useful as a teacher/ tutor is to a child I feel that my ultimate aim should be to teach my students to become independent learners. I would always plan my lessons based on the needs of the child and strive to use different resources and materials to make the lessons as interesting and stimulating as possible for the students. It is important to collaborate with parents and students and feedback is very important. The ultimate aim for me is to make the most of my student’s limited time and resources, so their own views on the structure and content of my lessons should always be of primary importance.
