Tutor's Profile

I am a native speaking English homeroom teacher from Ireland and have taught in the Middle East for just over seven years. I have a broad range of teaching experience ranging from kg1 to grade 2. I have tutored over 25 students over the course of these years and find it to be highly beneficial for the student to have the sole focus of the teacher, enabling me to cater to each particular students needs precisely.

When initially meeting a student for tutoring, I like to first gain a deeper understanding about where the child is on his or her academic journey and then set out goals and objectives to raise the bar and help develop the child's knowledge in a certain subject area or areas that they may be struggling in. I work closely with the parent and understand that communication is key to making sure progress in visible from the initial stages.
