Experience:
My experience is in the British Curriculum in KS1 and KS2. I pride myself on building strong relationships with my pupils and getting the very best out of them. This year I will be working in Mirdif as a Year 4 Teacher and will focus on driving my children to success in their own personal ways over the year. I worked within this school last year as a year 1 teacher and focused on the teaching of phonics as a firm foundation for creating fluent readers. I teach all aspects of English using grammar and punctuation as a basis for further creative writing. Within maths I use a variety of different concrete materials to create a deeper understanding of the methods used to solve mathematical problems. I can tailor my sessions to reach the child's individual needs and can set extra work to be completed by the next session to reinforce what has been taught. I have also been a STA level 2 Swim instructor and have my own Lifeguard qualification. I have taught a range of abilities from the age of 3 through to adults. I have also worked at different stages of swimming from beginning to competitive level.

Approach |
Approach:
Once I meet the child small assessments will be made to create an understanding of the child. I will use knowledge from the parent of their current status and their current areas of work within the classroom. I will then tailor my lessons to create a fun and dynamic learning environment for the child. |
