Tutor's Profile

I have worked as a High School Biology and Science teacher in the UAE for the past year. Prior to that, I gained over 5 years of experience tutoring High School Biology and Sciences during my university studies. I also have experience working with children with multiple disabilities, specializing in teaching students with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). I can relate to their challenges as I also have ADHD, and I have learned how to leverage it to my advantage to successfully complete my undergraduate and postgraduate education in the field of education.

My lessons are based on discovery learning, recognizing that Science is best absorbed through interest rather than repetition. I design lessons to captivate the child's attention, ensuring they remain engaged and prevent boredom or disinterest. These lessons are tailored to each student's specific needs and preferred learning methods. Additionally, I focus on teaching study skills to facilitate exam preparation, enabling students to review concise, summarized notes instead of having to go through entire textbook chapters.
