I will encourage rather than humiliate, and you can be confident that topics are pitched perfectly so that my students can make speedy progress right away. I teach lessons that are truly tailored to each of my students. The way I teach is informed by their abilities and preferences, from the structure of my questions to how I ask them, all driven by their developmental stage of thinking. Teaching is a two-way process, so expect lots and lots of questions from me as well.
