First, I make an evaluation of the student’s background knowledge and ability to grasp. I also find out what the student wants to achieve. My teaching will be pitched accordingly. I use virtual collaborative whiteboard with zoom link. The student is expected to have a writing device such as a writing tablet with pen. The lessons will be largely interactive with a lot of back and forth exchanges. The student can record the lesson. Following each lesson, I give automated quizzes where the student can self-evaluate. I also provide graded practice material which will be marked and returned after the student submits it. I also get the students to practice exam style questions right throughout the course. Having worked as a teacher in the UK for the past 9 years, as well as featuring on a tv series about teachers in the UK, I was then offered a position as a Specialist Language Teacher here in Dubai at a British School. Depending on how they learn best, be it through conversation, questioning, games and activities or through instruction and notes, all clients will progress at a healthy pace, following a structured framework. Malek is a very dedicated and great teacher. Very determined to make sure I was understanding every little thing. I ask a lot of questions and I go into details because I'm visual so he used to write and show, and that's how I memorized. He made sure I completely understood. Ms. Ambika is the best, I have been learning with her all summer and I slowly started liking the subject, I was never able to understand the concepts or remember what to do but with her help I was able to get an A* for my finals.
