I would like to begin by saying that Ashwathy is an excellent tutor and I would definitely recommend her. I have taken IBDP Psychology and English Language and Literature with her and both myself and my parents are extremely pleased. I was standing at a 4 when I joined and now my predicted grades are 7! She is talented, extremely patient (even worked outside hours and late nights to clarify my doubts), and very dedicated with making her own resources for use in class.

I am taking IB Economics SL and IB Business HL with Ms.Ash. I like her very much because she is young and full of energy and is also very experienced with the subject. In my school, the teacher doesn't give proper resources and we don't follow a textbook which made the subjects very hard for me. But Ms.Ash is very helpful and offers her own resources like textbooks, worksheets and past papers (even the teacher couldn't find these). The class environment is very clean and quiet. I've been taking Economics lessons with her and its great she explains everything detailed during the lesson and uses her pre-written notes on the board for further explanation during the class, and also provides really helpful extra notes for further understanding. Ms. Ash has honestly been an absolute gem of a tutor for IBDP TOK! She is incredibly helpful and sweet - before the tutoring sessions, she would ask me to send in my work for her to annotate all over on a word document. During every single tutoring session, she makes sure to thoroughly explain all the feedback and often goes out of her way to help me, whether it is constructing new claims/counterclaims or finding RLS. I scored an 8/10 on my presentation, which would've been impossible without her help as, before the sessions, I had no idea what TOK was since I wasn't taught it properly. I'm especially grateful for how she always follows up with me after sessions to see if I had any further questions as well as make sure that I am completing the task, to which she then marks once again to help me gain the highest marks. She is extremely helpful! I went to Miss Ashwathy regarding my TOK essay for the IBDP. Initially I was very confused about the essay and had no idea on how I needed to improve it, however, after having a one-hour session with Miss Ashwathy I felt so much better about the essay and felt as though I had a clear vision on what needed to be done. Miss Ash is an extremely cooperative and helpful tutor. She is constantly ready to help you with whatever you need and has an immense amount of patience. I started lessons with Ms Sridhar in November, She is the most experienced IB tutor i came across on. She is very familiar with the Curriculum and knows how to teach and explain it very well. As an IBDP student there follows a large number of requirements that is needed to be completed. What I liked about having Ms. Sridhar by my side, is her provision of guidance and clarity when it comes to giving advice. She has specifically helped me with the creation of my TOK that I felt has drastically improved since its initial state. I learned various skills and was given tips that directed me to think or view the essay in a different manner that made the entire process easier and less strenuous. I studied A Level Law and A Level Politics with Ms Ash and got an A for both subjects. I always try to keep it real. I have noticed that academic subjects have little connection to students’ lives. To keep it real, I explain the concepts by giving them real life examples. I always look for innovative new ways of teaching, I go through the latest developments in education and take the best from these new styles of teaching and use them in my teaching and training sessions. I never try to use the same method for all the students as they are all different from each other. Some students are able to grasp concepts at a quicker pace than others but I never get despair. I know the importance of being patient with my students and spend a considerable amount of time explaining. If I find that my students have problems retaining information, I use memory retention techniques like mind maps, time lines, graphs, diagrams etc which helps them to visualize so that they can synthesis and memorize the large amount of difficult information. At the same time I encourage my students to analyze subjects in a deeper, more analytical manner to enhance their critical thinking.
